How EMDR works

EMDR therapy works by facilitating the processing of traumatic memories through bilateral stimulation. The bilateral stimulation allows the brain to integrate these memories more adaptively, leading to insights, emotional healing, and reduced symptoms of trauma.

As a Certified EMDR and Somatic Clinician, I have supported clients in healing from various challenges, including sexual trauma, break-ups, anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, creative blocks, and self-esteem issues.
