About Therapy

How do you manage it all?

Juggling work, family, friends, and relationships is exhausting.

Yet, you just keep on going… and going… and going.

You look perfect on paper.

Everyone around you thinks you’re crushing your goals; but in reality, you feel you’re about to get crushed – by life.

What’s happened to your mojo?

You’ve started second-guessing everything – every interaction.

“Did I say the right thing?” or “If only I’d said…”

“My boss hates me.”

“I’m an imposter – it’s only a matter of time before somebody finds out.”

“I suck at relationships.”

Stressed out to the max, you default to the familiar feelings of self-doubt and angst, even though familiar doesn’t feel so good. In fact, familiar isn’t working for you anymore.

You set the pace.

You may feel nervous and start by dipping your toe in. Or maybe you want to jump in headfirst – excited by the possibility of more in-depth exploration.

It’s all about what works for you. Therapy can be many things. Sometimes you might just want to vent about your day.

In other sessions, you may want to roll up your sleeves and dig around those darker spaces.

Or you may have a specific goal you want to work toward. Whatever happens in the room, I encourage an open and honest dialogue to support what you need at the moment.

We tailor therapy to your needs.

We’ll explore the places that frighten you – make sense of your destructive patterns and the negative chatter that takes up most of your brain space.

We’ll lean into the uncomfortable feelings and sensations that accompany your emotional world.

I’ll witness you testing your edges, growing exponentially, and learning to love all of the amazing parts that make up your unique self.

And I walk the walk.

I’ll show up with a genuine sense of curiosity about who you are and what got you here.

As a therapist deeply committed to continuous learning and innovation, I bring a wealth of expertise in modalities such as IFS, EMDR, Somatic Therapy, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.  With a holistic and integrative approach, I embrace the wisdom of Bessel van der Kolk: therapy is not one size fits all. I personalize strategies tailored to your unique needs by valuing your individual journey and offering diverse tools for lasting transformation.

About Me

As the daughter of an immigrant mother and a bi-racial father, I understand the complexities of feeling “othered.” Raised in Los Angeles, a city obsessed with image and fitting in, I grappled with internalized judgments that fueled fear and shame.

Through the guidance of skilled therapists, I transformed fear and shame into courage and compassion. Now, I’m dedicated to helping others navigate similar struggles, offering a safe space for healing and growth.

A winding road

As much as I loved my therapists, I didn’t intend to become one. I was too busy in the corporate grind – working in education, entertainment, and technology in New York and San Francisco.

A job in entertainment brought me back to Los Angeles. A year later I quit my job, travelled to Southeast Asia, and started to study yoga. While there I took a deep dive into healing my own physical and mental health, experiencing some major epiphanies about my own life’s path.

After returning home I put on my back-to-school outfit and earned both an MS in Nutrition Sciences and an MA in Clinical Psychology (I’m a school nerd, too).

I am trained in psychedelic-assisted therapy with Ketamine, EMDR, IFS (Internal Family Systems), Somatic therapy, AEDP (accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy), and couples therapy. I also participate in consultation groups, do my own personal therapy, and mentor amazing associates who are working towards becoming licensed therapists.

Redefining therapy

I’m in the business of getting you off my couch and out into the world. I want you to heal, empower yourself, confidently trust your decision-making, and get excited about life.

Coming full circle, I’m honored to integrate my bi-cultural/bi-racial upbringing with my life experience and education to be a uniquely relatable therapist who helps you rediscover your unique you.
