How I Work

You are unique and our sessions will reflect that. I believe in a truly holistic approach – holding space for what brings you in to therapy, connecting to your strengths, and exploring your emotional landscape.

My goal is to facilitate a non-judgmental space to help you gain back control and power over your life. I show up as my authentic self and lead with a genuine curiosity about your inner world. I work from a blend of modalities including, CBT, LGBTQ+ Affirmative therapy, Jungian theories, Mindfulness, and Somatic techniques.

LGBTQ+ Therapist

I get that we all have our unique experiences, dreams, thoughts, and feelings. I emphasize the importance of creating a safe space to process your struggles and explore who you are without biases or expectations. You’ll feel fully supported as you delve into your anxiety, depression, and cultural & societal pressures. Together we’ll process your emotions, identify patterns, and develop a deeper understanding of what it really means to be you.

Therapy for Teens

I’m the therapist teens can talk to. They can say anything to me – without worrying about being appropriate. The more open and comfortable they feel around me, the better the therapy. I listen. I collaborate. I actively participate. But I don’t judge.

My goal for your teen is to leave our sessions feeling heard and understood, provide relief from their anxiety, and teach them effective coping mechanisms that can help them during difficult times.
